Simulation and Experimental Research on Overvoltage Measurement of Hybrid CVT

The CVT equipment running on site is slightly modified to form a hybrid achieve transient overvoltage measurement, which theoretically feasible and practical. This article uses ATP-EMTP establish its high-frequency model for simulation analysis. For further verification, frequency test an impulse were carried out 110kV produced by Taikai Transformer Factory, focusing analysis partial characteristics results show pressure can relatively accurate overvoltage. across affected uncertain factors has impact phenomenon. above process have certain practical value designing actual products.
